    Delivered a Guest Lecture for the School of Informatics Professional Issues 3rd-year undergraduate course on Data Harms. Slides available on OpenCourse.

  • September: Public Engagement: Edinburgh Futures Institute Doors Open Day
    Presented interactive exhibits at EFI Doors Open Day, including a pilot study on how members of the public rate LLMs for gender biased outputs.

  • August: Poster Presentation: EdinHelsOW WMT 2025 CreoleMT System Description: Improving Lusophone Creole Translation through Data Augmentation, Model Merging and LLM Post-editing

    Presented a poster at the BCS Women Ada Lovelace Colloquim, Liverpool, UK. Won 2nd prize in the Masters’ students category 🏆.

    Invited speaker on a panel event with Global Partners Digital and Meta’s AMET Stakeholder Engagement Team, speaking on cybercrime legislation and freedom of expression at United Nations Internet Governance Forum, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (participated virtually).
